Woodside House is a beautifully restored Manor House originally established in 1769 as a classical Lairds House on the Estate. It was the seat of the principal Landed Proprietor of the area. The entire area has derived its name from the Manor House. The woodside district is nearly 2 miles in Length and 1.25 mile in width equating to an approximately 1600 Acres estate.The Manor House was subsequently enhanced with grand reception rooms embellished with high ceilings and ornate plasterwork. An entrance porch with Doric Columns was also added in 1850.
